What's For Dinner

This week:
8 Oranges (we live in the land of citrus)
2lbs Apples (at least j's been enjoying the homemade applesauce I've been processing)
6 oz Mushrooms
1.5 lbs fava beans (yes!)
1 pnt Strawberries (better each week)
1 bu Carrots (I wish the babe liked carrots)
1 bu Broccoli (But at least he does like Broccoli!)
1 bu Kale
.5 lbs Salad
1 lb Onions
.5 lbs Snap Peas

We have asparagus, potatoes, chard, and 1 cucumber left from last week to use, as well.


And the plan right now:
Monday: asparagus+rice+ prosciutto soup
Tuesday: kale and pancetta pasta, strawberries with lemon
Wednesday: veal meatballs with chard and potato galette, oranges in honey
Thursday: fava beans salad, mushroom farro, coffee cupcakes
Friday: rosemary crackers and hummus, spaghetti ala carbonara, strawberries
Saturday: curried carrot soup with crab or crab fried rice + snap peas and carrot slaw. If I make the soup then we'll have rice pudding for desert
Sunday: Roasted yogurt marinated Lamb, with chutney, pappadams, chickpea curry, naan... probably not all of it, but at least some of it. Roasted Broccoli as a side?
