I was going to write here about how sometimes inspiration comes and goes, how it is sooo mysterious. Why did we make 10 Christmas cards, bake M's favorite cookies, cook a new variation on Walnut pasta, and build three lego towers all in one afternoon, when the previous days feel like a sahara of creativity? Yes, I've been sick, but still.



And then I realized: it's the Zoo. Every time we go, I come home energized, making, inspired, drawing, cooking, gluing.
























































I really hated Zoos growing up,and I am still not really sure where they fit with my moral compass, so this was a very surprise realization. Maybe it's the landscape? It doesn't matter, for now, I suppose: it's there.
